i need to vent for a second

my stupid WASHING MACHINE is broken!!!! Arg! How irritating. I put a bunch of clothes in there last and this morning when I went to put 'em in the dryer I found that it was filled with water and nothing was clean. I tried turning it on again, but nothing I haven't had any problems with it till now so I am REALLY frustrated. (PLUS - i got some nonsense on DH's favorite sweatshirt last night - so I've been trying to hand wash it now and it's just not working)

Those of you who rent - how does that work?? If the dishwasher just stops working, is that something that the Landlord needs to take care of? Or do we need to buy a new one ourselves??? I feel like if WE have to buy one, then I'm taking it with us when we move

At my in-laws house, they rent, and they pay to use the washing machine and dryer every month. If something goes wrong, the Landlord is supposed to take care of it.

The dryer actually broke, and they landlord replaced it. :) It's their job to fix it.

well we're just renting the house from him and the washer & dryer is apart of the house. So it's technically his, but we don't pay extra money to use it I don't think. Dh takes care of those payments, so i'm not really sure.

I do think that the landlord needs to take care of it though. I'll talk to DH about it when he gets home from work.

And I am soooo not going to the laundromat in the meantime. lol. I hate it there. It's boring alone and the lady who owns the nearest place is SCARY!! lol. seriously.
