I saw another brides proofs today

And it reminded me of how UNHAPPY I am with our photographer. I felt like so many of her proofs were GORGEOUS, and there were so many of mine that I was unhappy with. poop

I am so sorry! It seems that pictures are one thing that many brides are unhappy with after the wedding. As much as I loved mine, there are definitely pictures that were missed and I wish I would have asked for...so I understand your frustration. I hope you have some that you love, even if a few.

We can be our own worse critics. Maybe they aren't as bad as you think. Why not post some and let us share our opinions! You looked beautiful that day so I can't imagine your photos are bad at all.

I am already dfeeling like this I did'nt even get my proofs back yet. I mean I know already some shots were missed that I had wanted but there is nothing you can about it on that day you have so much going on and then to worry about what pics get taken becomes secondary.

I go through this EVERY time I look at another brides proofs- I have stopped looking since it upsets me so much. I totally understand.

There were a bunch of must-takes pics that were never taken 7 of the 10 tables never got group shots.... I have ONE picture of me walking up the aisle... this has been a sore spot with me after viewing some of the incredible pictures and poses that some of your girls had But I just grin and bear it and know that it's done and am glad I have over 700 pictures from my friends that attended the wedding and have some good shots

I feel that way too...even though I really do love my proofs...sometimes I see other brides proofs and wish I used their photographers.

I don't think I have met one bride that is completely happy with her proofs.
0 out of 10 tables were captured by my photographer. There are 0 pictures of my DH waiting at the altar. We had a special champagne for our toast and there are 0 pictures of it. I forgot to take a picture with my nieces and one nephew. There are random photojournalistic pictures of 4 nieces and nephew but one niece is missed.

Overall I am happy...but there are definitely missed pictures.

i feel the same way. I have one pic of me and my father walking down the aisle. I have no picks of dh waiting for me @ the alter or of the special rose ceremony for the moms we told the photographer about. There are a lot of pics i told him i wanted and some i assumed he would do and did not realize till after the wedding.....BUT I HAVE SOME AMAZING PICS I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF.

Believe me, I feel the same way. I was unhappy with mine as well. Everyone I know had great pictures. There was only a handful of good ones, if that out of the 500. Either I am squinting, or I am hunched over (and the photographer didn't even correct me, which I thought was strange). Bad poses and too many far away pictures. The pictures of us at the alter look like they were taken from a mile away. Then again, so do most of the shots.
