I survived NY! and the money pit

though I didn't have a moment to get on LIW the entire time I was there...

We did get a lot of work done on the apartment though (which is quickly turning into the money pit, but at least its Dad's money ) And we get a whole new bathroom as a result -it was a comedy of errors in there: first we were just painting, then we investigate why it smells musty and decide to look behind the tub surround. Only to find the walls have been replaced with mildew. So now we're replacing the sheetrock. Ok, no problem. Ah but there is a problem with the plumbing and apparently the tub has rusted through...one thing after another. So new pipes, new walls, new paint and a new tub, things are looking great!
(all part of my master plan to rid the bathroom of the 1970's gold.)

The other rooms got new paint, and new floors (rugs & tiles) are a work in progress.
