Many women are having children at an older age. You aren't too old.If you and your DH really want to start a family then go for it!

what does DH think about it? is there a reason that you decided not to in the first place?DH and I are loving married life together...alone...for right now...everytime I get a pang...he very nicely asks if its what I want and then reminds me of our life alone time... (although my friend told me that he told her when he was a bit drunk that he wanted to start in January!!

Thanks Dawnie, how sweet. My husband loves kids. But we want a house first,but that is taking too long. Lately Im coming to like the idea of being a mommy.

It's a lot of work and a huge commitment...don't do it just out of boredom or frustration with house hunting. Alot of people get very excited over babies...but, don't give much thought to what happens when they grow and don't listen as well or stay in one place...Wow - there's a voice of reality, huh?
Pangs come and go...listen to what your heart really wants, talk to DH and decide together if children are right for you in the long term.

Its just that lately, I noticed that my selfish self is diminishing. I would love to have kids, but I guess now is no the right time

No seriously, I know it was purely selfishness that I didnt want kids, it wasnt to pursue a great career. I just am content with the way things are.But lately, Ive been feeling maternal.

. I have a pretty bad 'itch' myself...I want #2 very badly, but I have to focus on myself first, to make sure I'm healthy for #2, and of course my very adorable and lovable #1!

Wacky how old are you if I may ask? I personally don't think there is a time limit on this stuff - unless you are like 60 or something....
