Pick the pictures for our album that is! We've yet to do it and have decided to try to set aside time this weekend for it.
For those that have done their albums, what helped you pick the pictures? Did you have a method? Lay them out in front of you?
Any advice is appreciated!

We went through the album & picked what we liked. We then put them all over the dining room table & dwindled down to what we wanted. Once we had them all, we put them in order!

I had a hard time doing this but then I put all of the pictures in albums in order of the day and then went through and picked out the best ones. I had a magazine style album so when I went to do the layout with my photographer they helped put them in order and gave some advice on whether or not some should be included. I thought it was so hard to narrow down over 950 proofs. Good Luck!

Not that I have finalized mine, but I put all my proofs in order, and then starting choosing the pages of my chapters!

Do you have all your proofs in a big album?
We had all ours in one big album (all in order) and then put little yellow pieces of paper in each slot of the pics we wanted for the album. Out of all our over 1k proofs we narrowed it down to 210... then each day for about a week I went through and weeded some out until I was down to 160. After we got it down to 160 we took the 160 pics out of the album and started laying them out in categories... then we narrowed it down some more.
We could pick 120 for our album, but we still went over... we just couldn't narrow it down anymore! HTH!!!
