To see Hannah Montana and Holy Sh!t $60 Are these movie theatres nuts? it was a matinee time but the people who released it told the theatres to charge full price Cause Im rich and it was only a 1 hr and 10 min movie

Yea thats why I stopped going to the movie theatres....besides the fact of it costing so much I always get stuck next to some fat nasty asss who hasnt showered in a week

wow, I think you just pushed back our baby making by another year! that's insane that they charged full price instead of matinee! how are parents supposed to afford bringing their family to a movie!! damn that no-seatbelt wearing Hannah!

that's why DH and I pretty much stopped going to the movies. The ticket prices are ridiculuous considering that you could just buy the DVD for way cheaper. And then if you get popcorn and soda and all it really adds up! I hope your kids had fun seeing the movie at least!

I heard Disney or whoever put the movie out set the price for that. I was watching the news when it first came out and alot of parents said it was ridiculous that it was $20 for that movie and all the other kiddie movies were $8.50 or less (depending on person). But I guess that didn't stop parents from taking the kids because she made alot of money that weekend.

LMAO You and me both! My mom used to do that-would give us little chip bags in her mommy pack along with juiceboxes and as we got older, cans of chilled soda lmao. ALWAYS matinee shows too.
DH and I stopped going now because its CRAZY expensive and people in our theatre never know hwo to behave.

Yup, when we went it was actually MORE than full price. The tickets were $15 each- no matter what time you went!! I was really annoyed!! What pisses me off even more is that I rushed to go see the damn movie the first week b/c it was supposed to be for 1 week only!! Here it is 3 weeks later and it's still showing!! They got me...
But my daughter loved it and I guess that's the important thing.
