i have medium length curly hair and i want to go a bit shorter only because i NEED SOME SHAPE! i will eventually grow my hair out but it looks so awful now, i need to do something.

yup. i hate blowing it out, but i sometimes do if i am going out, so i need something that looks good both ways.

Seems like it would be a easy style with the right person to cut it......sorry can't help you there.......good luck!!!!

I waited 6 months to cut my hair and now I'm miserable, but that's just me. I hate having to style it. I like to take the least amt of time to do my hair while getting ready.
Make sure you def want it! good luck!
Btw, I donated my hair too when I cut it to Locks Of Love.

Check out Lumara NY Salon on Broadway in Massapequa...they're a vendor on here for salons. I've never had my hair cut there but my wedding m/u artist was there...she was amazing and it looks like a great salon!

After having Denise Venti do my hair for the wedding I am switching to her as my regualr stylist --- give her a try!! She's awesome and so great to work with. I'm going for the post-wedding chop and color tomorrow!
As of Monday she'll be in a salon right in Bellmore - FM me if you want more info.

Oh I haven't lived on LI in a looooooong time. I don't even remember who I went to! I used to go only for color when I died my hair auburn....then I found an awesome hairstylist there and he left after I finally found him! I was so upset!
