I want to preserve my bo-k ....

where do I start? What has everyone done with theirs?

no but I can use some ideas what to do with mine too! I have mine dried at my moms and I have 3 BM bouquets in my apartment. No clue what to do with them!

I hung mine upside down too. My MIL said to spray it with hairspray. I think I saw a preservationist (sp?) company in Mt. Kisco but I think I was supposed to prep the bouquet beforehand. Oh well!

ok ... I FM'ed shamma ... we'll eagerly await her response to this! Mine is upside down, dried out, but I can't leave it like this forever!!

I think you had to send your bo-k in right away to preserve it but I am not sure. I don't know what I did wrong with my bo-k, I hanged it upside down and it grew mole. I had to throw it out that the end..very sad

Oh Latina, you screamed me out that's ok tho' I did promise peekshures and for someone that haunts people so much to post pix, I should be on the ball. I promise this week will not go by and I do not post it.

You had to have sent the bo-k right after your wedding packed in ice etc. But I am sure you can call and see what they can do for you. I used the company Keepsake Floral they were prompt and very friendly and the bo-k is very beautiful.

There are many options for your bo-k, I do not know what options are offered after so much time has passed.

I called the # on the site & they said that there are a few options ... I've had them send me some info ... she told me about 2 options available for dried flowers, so there's hope yet!

christmas-please post more info when you get it about our two options - from what they told you does either sound like a good idea? I really need to do something soon because my BM bouquets make a mess anytime I touch the pot they are in!

irenie-I sprayed all of mine with hairspray because Ir ead that is what you should do but I have no clue what it does!

I had my bo-k preserved and framed in a shadow box with my invite and a program. I will try to post a pic tomorrow of it. A friend of my mom's hung it upside down after the wedding to dry and then sprayed it with some special glue spray before we took it to the frame store. They had to shave the bo-k a bit, though, otherwise the shadow box would have been too big.

Niecey, she told me briefly that they can make a keepsake from your naturally dried bo-k, but it'll be smaller & the color will be more concentrated.

She also said that if you send a pic then they may be able to replicate your bo-k somewhat using what they already have in stock. While this would look better, you lose the sentimental value.

I'll probably just have them work with mine, since they're in good shape & I'd rather not look at a
bo-k that I knew wasn't the one I carried.

Hopefully, the brochure comes asap. Call them & let them send you one also!!

I had mine dried, and I have it in a vase. Not sure what else to do with it.

I have mine the same way Natasha has hers but it is starting to collect dust. I thought of mounting it in a shadow box but I haven't found one deep enough to do that. I am interested in other ideas as well!

Christmasbride and Niecy ... I had my mom dry mine too and they are just sitting in a vase! Please let me know when you get the brochure. I should check this out and do something already!!! Thanks for posting the topic!!

they have some large square glass boxes in michael's that we're thinking of putting metphan's bo-k in after its dried. you can hang the box on the wall or put it on a table. bo-k won't get dusty that way. we bought the drying crystals from michael's to preserve them. its all in the floral department. we'll let you know how it works. only 2 1/2 more weeks to go!
