ETA: This also happened to my DH 3 weeks b4 Christmas - they charged like $800 worth of crap from the internet...

AAHHHH Gina!! I'm soooo sorry!!!! Do you have any sort of identity insurance on any cards of yours? Or bank accounts (some bank accounts offer credit card identity theft protection - I know my bank has a product like that).
Regardless, they most likely will refund all the money to you. It might take a while though. they probably have to open an investigation.
I'm sooo sorry!! i know the whole process of this just stinks!! I PRAY this never happens to me. It did happen to John while we were on a cruise. It was a bit of a mess... but the credit card company caught it and denied the fraud transaction then blocked the card (hence why it was crappy bc we needed THAT card for the cruise).

omg!! horrible dont worry youll get credited if u file a police report...it happened to me but with very small amounts, someone charged gas from Mobil..and did groceries on my lost debit card

you know i always think to myself that as much as its a pain in the asss, places should always ask for id and match the signature, otherwise, they never check.
and online, what the helll is the point of your security code, if someone could write down your cc#, they can write down the security code. ughhhhh this ***** so much for you. so sorry that they credit you all that money
