I was once a bride...

And now I feel like a wedding critic

I'm going through an ex-best friend's wedding photos and keep thinking, 'hmm i would have done that differently'...

to each his own huh?

Anyone know the feeling??

I started doing that as soon as I got engaged. Every wedding I went to I was thinking 'Oh that's a good idea..........oooo that's not so good' lol

I do this too! I feel like I have a thousand ideas in my brain that I want to put to use!! No one wants my help. I never thought I'd WANT to be a BM.

Oh yeah, I totally do that too. And I loved our wedding pictures so much, I'm obsessed with looking at other people's pictures and often find that they weren't as good as ours. That is so superficial!

i had that feeling DURING the wedding process. i used to go to weddings with little checklists in my head and be like hmmm ok that looks bad make sure i dont do that. oh that came out nice, maybe i'll add that etc

good - im glad im not the only one! cause thats exactly what i was doing...
I think LIW ends up making most of us look at wedding vendors in a different way than other brides...if that makes sense?

I definitely have become a wedding critic. One of the girls from DH's church is getting married next month and I was so critical of her invitation, but I couldn't help it; I could barely read the invite because of the font color and her rsvp was literally one week after we received the invite.
