Ideas of where to go on a BABY-MOON?

So I am pregnant and looking to take a trip in Sept-Oct-November (so the fall) somewhere with my hubby before the baby is born. I am due in Feb.

Any ideas?

I was thinking Colorado, mountain top, spa, that sorta thing...

no sun, because it makes me sick right now (and I love the sun) - but the heat doesn't mix with pregnant me.

Any ideas of somewhere romantic where we can relax and stuff???

TIA!!!!

aspen colorado is reallly nice. it def will be relaxing. or what about lake tahoe?

ETA: just be careful with colorado because some people complain of the high altitude. when we went last summer i didnt feel well like 2 days and my mom had a headache for a couple of days. so maybe just check with your doc.

ooooh! i'm gonna add to the ideas, i need help researching this too (i'm due in jan!)

ideas....

vegas
south beach
san diego
cancun

but those are more nicer temperatures...you said you wanted colder temps...hmm that's a toughie. i've never been to colorado but i'd be afraid being preggo and having to be around snow (does it already snow there in november? totally have no clue)

how about niagara falls?

Yea, I do not want COLD, but like fall temps...

I usually go to FLA for Thanksgiving but the heat really has been making me ill!! Plus they say your skin is much more sensitive when pregnant. I want to be careful. My sister got brown spots on her face when preg and they never went away.

Anywhoot...keep the ideas coming!

any good spas??

Well, I don't know if you want to travel so far, but we just came back from San Francisco, Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino. I would definitely recommend heading out there. Lots of spas and relaxation!

It might stink being pregnant in Napa or Sonoma, but there are actually a lot of spas out there that are GORGEOUS. Check out Auberge De Soile . We didn't stay here - just had dinner, but it is AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL. The pictures do not lie!!

Congrats and good luck!!
