DH and I paid for our TY's from our photographer. we didn't get them yet, but he showed us a sample of what he does and I hate them! I was thinking about asking him to lower our balance a little (the balance is due when the DVD is ready) and buying my own. I don't know yet if he will, but I just wanted to start shopping around and seeing what they cost. Any websites you could recommend? TIA!

I know some girls on here used Kodak online. I also looked into Shutterfly but it was going to cost a little more than the extras I needed from the photog so I got them from the photographer.

ACMoore has boxes of cards used to attach 4x6 pics to front (with mounting corners included) and blank inside.
i USED THESE AND PRINTED UP SOME WORDING WITH MY BOK AS BACKGROUND AND PASTED INSIDE, THEN WROTE PERSONALLY TO EACH COUPLE.
BOX OF 50 IS $20 - - BUT USED COUPON. (sorry bout caps blasted cap lock button)

We didn't do photo thank yous b/c I didn't want to wait that long to get our proofs back. So just got plain monogrammed cards that have our initials printed on them, and got enough that I now have extras for note cards to send to friends. Paid less than $75 for about 150 cards.
If you want to do photo cards, I know a lot of brides used Kodak Gallery to do it. Check out vintagegirl's, if you cna search them out. She did hers on Kodak and they were amazing.

I ordered from Shutterfly last night. 5 pic collage tent card, with printing on inside, and envelopes. They are on sale for 25% off and with 'ship50' you get free shipping over $50. It came to $96.22 for 75 cards.

I just looked at shutterfly's website -- the standard note card with one picture on the front is $5.00 for 12 -- so 96 of them comes to $40. not a bad deal!
