If you can have lunch with one dead celebrity, who would it be?
For me, I would love to meet Katharine Hepburn-she is my idol-she did things her way and managed to live a long life and very tasteful, even with the drama of her relationship with Spencer Tracy! I think she is an incredible woman! I am also impressed that she was always so down to earth. I think she was a ground breaker (she was the only woman wearing pants to set in the 1930's and made it a trend effortlessly!) and many stars nowadays can learn from her!
What about you. Catherine (MeNBobs)-I can't wait to see yours!!!

I would have to say Humphrey Bogart. To me is the perfect combination on intellegence, looks, sophistication and was a little bit of a bad boy.

Natalie Wood. She was Maria is West Side Story and the little girl in the orginal Miricle on 34th Street. What a wonderful actress.

same here!! him or Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, or Brad Nowell (from Sublime).....they all left this world too soon!!
ETA- if I had to choose an actor/actress, it would be Lucille Ball.....I actually cried when she died (even though I was only 9 lol).....I think she'd be a riot to hang out with!

I seriously loved Elvis when I was a little girl. I used to have Elvis VHS tapes and Id sit there all close to the tv just watchin. Totally adored him.

I'm torn between two, but I think this would work out. I would love to have lunch with Katherine Hepburn. I've always admired her for not confirming to what women were 'supposed' to be like. Her acting was phenomenal. I would also love to have lunch with Julia Child. I admire her for here wonderful cooking and techniques, and her keen sense of humor.
Best would be to have lunch with Kate as cooked by Julia, with me as sous chef.

john lennon or elvis presley....maybe lucille ball too i'm obsessed with old movie stars. Our entire stairwell is pics of marilyn, judy, natalie wood, audrey, gene kelly, james dean, elvis, etc. etc. etc...love them ALL! but i'd love to just sit down & have a good convo with lennon or the king

Hey ladies- if any of you make it down to DC there is a Katharine Hepburn exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery. It has some of her clothes, tons of old movie posters, and all of her Oscars! I had never seen an Oscar up close before!! What a classy lady. Totally worth seeing if you're ever here.
