If you ever want a great dining experience....

Go to Mr. K's located in Manhattan on 51st and Lexington!!! My hubby took me there for dinner on my birthday this past Friday (I must've gained 10 pounds between Thanksgiving and my birthday

). Everything about the restaurant was wonderful, the ambiance, food, service - it was the best!!!

One thing they did which I though was cute - they give every woman an orchid with a pin to wear it on your lapel as you sit in your seat. Then they have these little silver plates in front of you when you first sit down and put warm towels on these silver plates so you can start by cleaning your hands. We had the prix fixed meal which gave a great sample of their food. I could go on an on, but I think it's a great place to go check out! Have fun and let me know how it goes!

I loooove hearing about new places to eat! Thanks for the tip. By the way, what kind of food is it? I recommend ASIA DE CUBA on Madison Ave... MY FAVORITE! Happy B-Day!
