I got married on a Friday but I took the whole week off before the wedding. My company gives you a wedding week so thats what I used.

I took Wed, Thur, and Friday off before the wedding....none were 'given' to me...

I took off Thursday and Friday, and they were taken as vacation days.

No!!!!!!! and I'm still PO'd about it to this day. I've worked there for 10 years and it's a VERY small office. I took off on Thurday (which I should be charged for but come on...my wedding day?!?!?!?!) My boss came to my wedding and closed the office early and they STILL chaged me I'm so happy to be leaving in a few months (for student teaching)

We have personal days that no one every uses so the days I took off(Wed., Thurs., & Fri.) were catorgized as personal days if corporate ever came asking, but since no one uses them I considered them uncharged since my vacation & sick wasn't touched.

My place is great. I took Thursday the day before off and Friday then another 7 days after that and they didnt charge me at all.

I had to take the wedding days off as vacation days. But my boss then was super cool and just gave me the 40 hours for a week for my honeymoon.

I took Tuesday, Wedn, Thurs, Friday off. They gave me a hard time about it.

I took off Wed. Thurs. and Friday. I had 10 vaca. days comeing to me, so I took it all in one shot....didnt' think about taking a personal day. This is my first job that had actual vacation/personal/sick day policy, worked in a small office before that, where you took days off you didnt get paid. So I was just thrilled to get paid!!!

I got married on a Friday,and took wed-Frid. off.It was used as Personal Days.
