if you had $1000 and you

know you could go on a small vacation with it where would you go.

Dh and i have an 1k and wanted to go to get away but not sure where to go, last year we went to florida for 5 days 4 night hotel,. air fare and a rent a car in clearwater ann only paid $900 for us

So we are thinking if we can get something like that again somewhere in the US we would book it

I would certainly try to go to CA, but I don't think 1K would get us very far lol or maybe it will.

I heard a co worker talking about Vegas for $400 a person right now on HotWire.

I like Vegas, but I am not a gambling type, so I can only stand it for like 2 days. But , if you like it then Vegas could be an option.

Probably get a flight with dh to my parents condo in Florida and then use the left over money for dinners and stuffs

maybe Las Vegas, or somewhere else in Florida. I've always wanted to go to Sanibel Island or Siesta Key.

new orleans-if i can find a good deal

Vegas-depends though on the deal you can get, if you get air and hotel cheap and if you both dont gamble.

I'd go to Vegas (again)!!! Dh mentioned the other day that he wanted to go again.

But I want to start going places we havent been.

Maybe, Toronto or New Orleans.

i think it has been built up. Well the finale of top chef tonight is in new orleans im sure you'll see clips of it now. But from what I know the main area where you would probably go, has been fixed up.

we went the year after katrina for fun & then two years ago for a wedding- it was fabulous. I dont know how it was pre-katrina since I wasnt there before- but we had a ball and plenty to do both times!

I am going to CA for a weekend in May and the price is going to be around 900 for flights and hotel for 4 nights. We have a wedding to go to and it is close to Disney Land so we are just going to make a little vacation out of it.

DH and I are looking into vacations for $2,000 all inclusive so we know how much we are spending.

Is the $1,000 including your spending?

We are looking at Riu in Puerto Vallarta and cruises since there are a bunch
