If you honeymooned in St. Lucia...

My fiancee and I are tryign to decide between Stonefield Villas in Soufriere and Ti Kaye Resort. Has anyone been to or stayed at either one and have any opinion as to which may be more enjoyable to stay at ! Thanks!

Re: If you honeymooned in St. Lucia...

I did not honeymoon there but my friends did. Just be aware that its a long ride from the airport to some of the resorts. Like over an hour...but i can't provide you with what type of advice those places are. Good luck.

Re: If you honeymooned in St. Lucia...

I went to Sandal's Stl. Lucia. I agree with the girls there is a long bus trip to your resort.

The island is beautiful. No matter which place you pick it will be beautiful.

Re: If you honeymooned in St. Lucia...

been there but not for HM and it was Splash St. Lucia

If you take the hooper flight like Corrine said thats your best bet unless you dont mind the ride from the aiport to the hotel.

I have never stayed at either of those hotels but do you have a link? I would love to go back there one day and we would DEFINETLY change hotels from where we stayed.

The ride wasn't that bad. I've had worse.

Re: If you honeymooned in St. Lucia...

I did not stay at Ti Kaye, but I saw it from our tour bus. It looked really nice. I did not hear anything about the other place that you mentioned.

My only comment on the trip from the airport to the resort is that you can fly into the smaller airport ( our resort was less then 5 min from there) or if you don't want to take the bus or a cab they offer helicopter flights from on airport to the other. A friend of mine did that and said it was amazing.
