I still cant believe this wasnt a fake gift! i never recieved a gift for DH like that at all.

I really can't believe this was her actual gift... I don't think DH has ever done that to me... but then again I usually am very clear about things I want/don't want.

i hadn't seen that till just now and let me just say wow ... just wow!!

anyway, DH has gotten me things i didn't like (like a really ugly scarf that this year) ... but i just tell him the truth, return it, and exchange for something better

oh, and any time DH has bought me something i didn't like, it's because i didn't like the style or whatnot ... i always liked the idea (i'm a scarf-aholic )

I was following it - I had hoped for some kind of cool update/fake-out kind of thing.

I feel so sad for her.

To answer the OP: DH never gave me something like that.

If he did though, I don't think I'd react by crying or smacking him. A clear and concise 'What the fkuc is this?' would be my reaction.

OMG!!!!!

Last year.. DH got me a BRA for my bday.. LOL And I was like W Tee Eff.. Where is the rest of my gift? lol (it was from agent provocateur).. lol

I was like.. the least you could have done is got me a pair of underwear to match it LOL.. but then a few days later.. I found out that he also got me sunglasses that I wanted.. so I felt a little wacky lol. But at least it's things that I want and can use.. If I got something like that.. I would kick him in the head.. HARD!!!

well kinda .. I was really into rockstar INXS one year and it was around my birthday when it was on.. I kept tellin FH that the people were really talented on the show and I loooved the way they played guitar.. apparently he took it as let me get you a guitar for your bday.. I was in complete shock when I got it.. I mean it seemed really thoughtful and I wish I knew how to play.. but at that time I was more into singing and new I didnt have time to take lessons.. I used to take it out every chrsitmas eve and 'pretended I knew how to play' cause DH was always like I got you a guiat and you never play it.. Needless to say I still have it and dont play, lol.. I might be selling it if anyone is interested,

i still don't believe it's not a fake out... maybe it's coming on christmas even though they're jewish???

i have a hard time believing anyone's HUSBAND would not know them enough to know that that's the worst gift ever
