I'm a bad wife

Yesterday I threw my laundry in the wash while DH was still sleeping, ran my errands then came home and threw it in the dryer. It sat there all day and while DH was in the shower I folded everything and put it away. I didn't bring his downstairs and he has no clue all my clothes are clean

HAHHAHAH!!!! That is great!

haha. I can't do that because we share a hamper - so I just do all our clothes together. Sometimes i forget that dh had lived alone before we were married and KNOWS how to do laundry and take care of things himself. lol

I have a friend who yells at me ALL the time b/c I don't do DH's laundry for him! I ask him all the time if he wants me to but he says no! I DO fold it for him and put it away, however. It's not like our dirty clothes share a hamper. He throws his in a basket on his closet floor, and I throw mine in a basket in MY closet floor. So, I guess I am a bad wife, too then

We have separate hampers in our closet and I brought mine back up yesterday after I threw everything in the wash. He had no clue

You ask, I don't. Usually when I'm doing wash, I tell DH to bring the basket down so I can get it started. We take turns keeping it going since we usually have 3-4 loads in a week.

DH's idea of doing laundry is sending it out, just like he did when he was single.
I can't justify spending $30 a week on laundry when I have a laundry room in my co-op and it costs me about $7.00 to do 4 loads and I can be done in 90 minutes.
I wash and fold, he puts it away.

same here! it annoys me to do it- but I do because I'm cheap & he would waste the money

I wanted to do the same but got lazy...we tend to do ours together.

We're responsible for our own laundry because I freak out if anything happens to mine. He sends his out to be washed and I wash mine at my mom's. Well actually, my mom hijacks my laundry as soon as I get in the door and she does it for me Then she gives me a guilt trip when I try to stop her from doing it.
