Ok so I just finalized DH's Christmas gift. What do you think?
Friday, Jan 4th
Drive to NY (we live in RI) My dad & his wife take the baby Bring DH to NYC Check into the New York Palace Hotel Dinner at Tavern on The Green Tickets to Cirque Du Soliel Night alone without the baby
Do you think he'll like it? I didn't know what else to get him.
one other question... when I made the reservation for Tavern, they asked if it was a special occasion & offered/suggested ordering a personalized cake for 2. So I ordered it BUT... I had them write Happy Birthday Caroline on it since this is all 2 days after my bday. Is that bad? I didn't' know what else to put on it.

I like the cake idea, total package gift for your husband but a cake for yourself - love it !

I like that idea! I think its a wonderful gift for the two of you actually. Something you will both enjoy. As much as you love Ella cause she's all sorts oc cutie Sometimes mom and dad need time to play too. Enjoy it and have a wonderful time!

I think it's awsome. But I would change the cake, and say something like here's to you and I forever, or something like that!! Or, I'll love you forever. You definately went above and beyond.

that's an awesome gift!! He'll love it!! It'll be a nice treat for both you. I think the cake is okay the way it is -- these might sound cheesy but since it is his xmas gift what about 'to my one and only', 'today, tomorrow and always'

That sounds like an awesome gift!!!!! For the cake, I would agree to change it to something more related to the both of you (since you'll probably celebrate your birthday beofe you leave anyway?).
