I'm bored as can be--so lets dish---about food dishes. lol

I make these thingies for parties all the time & they are AWESOME. Recipe given to me by a co-worker:

SPINACH FETA CRESCENTS

2 cans of Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 onion diced
1 10oz frozen chopped spinach
½ lb feta
3 oz cream cheese
½ tsp dill
½ tsp black pepper
3 tbsp butter

Saute onion in butter. Combine with cream cheese, feta, squeezed and drained thawed spinach, dill & black pepper. Refrigerate 1 hr.

Take can of crescent rolls roll out the entire sheet so you are looking at a big square – make another diagonal cut through each triangle so that you have smaller triangles. Separate.

Put 1 tbsp in middle of triangle and curl in the corners. Place on baking sheet and bake @ 350 for 12-15 min.

what about potato skins

Do you have a deep fryer? maybe do the mozzarella sticks in that, or fried zucchini sticks, onion rings, fried calamari, jalapeno poppers, or you could just buy the frozen jalapeno poppers

spinach and artichoke dip

stuffed mushrooms

shishkebobs

coconut shrimp

empanadas

fried plantains

can i just say that i was telling DH about my menu and he was like 'um--w t f babe--that's a LOT of food'

hhaha--wait till he sees all these ideas i'm getting here. bwuahahahaha

i told him that besides our wedding--in nearly 7 years together (only living together the past like yr and a half) we've NEVER ONCE thrown a party. this needs to rock. i need yummy foods and you chicas are working the ideas big time.
