Im married (legally)

DH & I had a civil ceremony on 10/23/03.

Our 'wedding' is 10/23/04.

I guess im not really a newlywed.. but I feel GREAT. I don't know if I 'qualify' for this, but I sure as hell spent a whole day at DMV, bank & Social Security office to make me a Mrs. and feel like I earned the right to be newlywed. hehe

I am SOOOO glad we chose this route. I know it's not for everyone, but we really feel like this was the first 'step' and next year is the 'final' hooplah to the event. Kind of like we are on a year long honeymoon. hehe

The whole name change thing made it 'real' for me. What a feeling!

My father knows.
He's not telling my brother or stepmonster and Im alright with that. Office knows, kinda have to. Friends know. His family does not know.

It's all weird. But I could care LESS! After nearly four years of dating and living together in one form or another for the past 2 years, we are married and that's all that counts. hehe
