i'm pissed

I was inquiring on here about pricing for a catering hall. One of my family members had the talk with her boyfriend about a possible next step. Well we started talking about it because she was sooo excited, she wanted to know how to come up with a budget. So I asked her what her favorite catering hall was and she told me so I was asking around on here what quotes the 2010/2011 brides had received so I could help her out a little being that the catering hall is the chunk of your budget. She had an idea about the amount of people so it's an easy thing to figure out.

WELL SOMEONE ON HERE who knows a family member of hers, recognized me and went back and told that family member about a possible engagement. That person instantly contacted me and wanted to know all about it. Thanks for recking the suprise. This site sometimes pisses me off. Can't say anything bad about a vendor and now I can't say anything at all becuase I have a someone looking at my post and giving the information back to people. RIDICULOUS!!!!

I'm just so mad. I was just trying to Help her out. I know it's not easy creating a budget. No one helped me and I wish someone gave me a clue. All i wanted to do was get an idea and someone blew it out of proportion and now I'm worried that everyone is going to find out that they are talking about the next step. I told her that I was going to come on here and ask around and now I had to tell her that someone on here gave out the info to her family member. She's never gonna want to use this site now.

you know what - that's ridiculous! Why are random people that you know even looking at your posts?? Are they members or just REALLY nosy? Even if I WAS the type to 'stalk' my family members or friends, I'd never ADMIT it by mentioning something I've read. lol. What a loser. HOWEVER - if this person is a member, then that's another story.

Personally, I don't have any random people reading my posts (that I know of), but I still am careful just in case. I guess from now on, you should always change the names. Like if I wanted to ask something about my family member, but it's too personal, then I'd probably say that it was a 'friend' or something. lol. (yes, aren't I sooooo slick? lol)
