Im so proud of my sister

My sister joined the air force earlier this year...even thought I asked her to wai until after the wedding! She-of course-didnt make it to my wedding

BUT she graduated today!!!

I didnt make it to Texas to see her graduate but Im so proud of her!!!

She is going to be stationed in London She is happy....I am NOT so much

what is she going to do? is she going to fly???! (I vaguely recall most women can't be fighter pilots becuase they have to be something like 5'10' to 6' tall, right? But I think I heard they could be copter pilots )

Thanks ladies...makes me feel a little bit better about her not being at my wedding

But Im SOOOOO happy she did it, I was worried about her at first b/c she would call my mom crying...I felt so bad! But she completed it, did it and its fantastic

She wants to be a mechanic, most likely she will never fly b/c she is a woman thankfully that isnt what she wants to do

oh, all of my friends who went through the military 'hazing' almost broke down several times.... but they're so much stronger once they're done

yea I knew that there was a possibility but my sister is the tough girl in the family...so it was really heartbreaking to hear her sobbing on the phone to come home

They put her in 2 weeks of 'fat' boot camp b/c they felt she was having a hard time-this of course killed her to hear.

But now, its like talking to a completely different person, granted she needed to grow up a little bit and it really did that for her

Tell your sister I say THANK YOU!!
