I'm soooooo sorry.............
that I've been away soooooooo long!!! the last few weeks have been a little mix of ![]()

so to catch up on what the h*ll I've been up to, here goes!
had Mimi's shower on March 1st! it was a big success!!! it was at Piccola Bussola in Mineola- food was amazing!! the surprise was ruined, but I blame that on her job!![]()
they rescheduled a work conference for the same day as her shower, so her hubby told her she couldn't go to the work thing for obvious reasons ![]()
ah well, as they say, its not good to surprise a prego woman!!
then later that same week I went to Orlando for a long weekend w/ DH, BIL & SIL. before leaving I had deadlines to deal w/ at work so I was SUPER stressed out, but then the day before leaving I got the most awesome news!!! I got a 20% raise at work!!! I took a promotion last year and took a chance, and it really panned out!! I've never received such a big increase for my annual raise!!! so that gave me something to celebrate while in Florida.
we had an awesome time when we were there, except apparently me & DH seem to bring the cold w/ us when we go to Florida in winter time! it was in the mid 70's the first day, but then the 2nd day was low 60's and windy as hell!! and yes, that was the same day we went to a Mets spring training game in Port St. Lucie (a freakin hour & a half from the hotel!!......and the Mets lost to the Marlins 12-4, and even worse (damn Pelfry!), I got windburn on the LEFT side of my face only from sitting in the stadium!!![]()

somehow I get spastic sunburns everywhere I go (see HM Pics for exhibit A!).....we still had a great time in Orlando- went to Universal to the Mardi Gras parade Saturday night (w/ Smokey Robinson in concert doing a bunch of motown hits!)....DH was slightly disappointed it didn't include the *usual* mardi gras tradition of girls whipping out their ta-tas!! (don't feel too bad for him though, he got some at the hotel later that night! ![]()
.......fast forward to Sunday night, we went to the Groove at Citywalk, DH soooooo got hit on by 2 gay guys!! there was a bunch of gay people there, and me & SIL were on the dance floor while Mike & his brother hung out by the bar, well this one guy was swarming around like a shark and then he followed Mike into the bathroom, he opted for the stall since he thought he seemed weird lol....no need to give him access to seeing his package at the urinal! ![]()
oh and then our last night there we went to this Karaoke bar called O'Shucks, and some dude went up onstage sang a country song and then called his girlfriend up and proposed to her!!!! it was sweet!! so funny to think gee that was me getting the proposal almost 2 years ago! ahhhh memories! ![]()
then last week Uncle Louie had a kidney infection, and since he had his second 'bleed' on the brain two weeks ago, he hasn't really spoken![]()
we're all still remaining hopeful, keep him in your prayers please! today is his 61st birthday and he was supposed to be having surgery again, I haven't heard yet how it went.
soooo this past weekend we hit our 6 month mark of being married!!! to 'celebrate' we had Mike's nieces 1st b-day party lol, fun times w/ the fam and 10 little kids running around everywhere, and then on Sunday I made corned beef & cabbage and had the in-laws over, and then I found out that my sister is PREGNANT!!!!!!! yayyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

its her 2nd!! and she's due right around my niece's 4th birthday in November!!! I've known for 2 days and already I can't wait to find out the sex!! I really feel like 2008 is going to be a great year dispute some hiccups!!
sorry this was so ridiculously loooooong but as you can see I've missed you all and wish I could catch up on everything I've missed!! hope everyone has been well!! what have you all been up to?
