I'm stressing...

All of this house buying stuff is stressing me out! The mortgage and all that goes with that, getting insurance in Texas is a nightmare and so expensive, and just all the little details! I'm so afraid some hidden costs or something is going to pop up that we did not think about. Plus, we are leaving for vacation on Sun for a week, get back on the 17th and close of the 20th! Probably not the best timing for everything! I'm freaking that while we are in Mexico that some deal breaker will come up that we won't be able to take care of. AHH!! Just venting! Please tell me that others also had major stress before closing on your house...I think I need a drink!

Hi d. I think it'll all be fine. When I closed on my house 3 years ago, I remember the stress leading into getting the mortgage etc. but once it was set, then all of the rest of the details were handled by the lawyers. You'll be in your beautiful house before you know it!

I remember it well! It will all work out. Take a deep breath and try to relax and enjoy your vacation.

I was soooo stressed out with the selling/buying/moving process that I was actually loosing my hair. I had two bald spots on the side of my head. You couldn't see them, luckily I have very think hair. My hairdresser noticed them. My hair is growing back.

I'm having grad school stress today, so I sympathize. Enjoy your vacation and leave this mess behind for a while.
