I AM SOOOOOOOO PROCRASTINATING!!!!!!! I got married 11-9-02 and I need to pick my albums and I am so putting it off. Its been almost 3 months and i know im already going to be over the 'etiquette' line. I just cant seem to pull myself together and get it done. I weeded out all the bad pics...eyes closed and such but now i have to pick our album, sit with my parents for theirs, thank yous, our large one and 5 by 7;s and the like. I dont even know how to go about picking what for what..like is our album supposed to have only us? I read the other post about spreading them out all over a table but we have no space like that at all. Did anyone else put this off? I also think when I look at anything pertaining to the wedding, i get so sad its all over. My dress is still hangning upstairs and whenever i see it...I cry! Anyway, I am rambling. But i really need to do this. I have off Monday so maybe Ill take advantage of it and do something. Thanks for listening ladies!

I put this off for a while! First was the newlywed high and then we started looking for a house, I started school and work got crazed! I sent my thank you's 5 1/2 months after our wedding and I thought that was fine! As far as my albums ... I just called up - made an appt. and from there, we went to each parent's house to let them chose the pics in their albums. You have to just make yourself do it! We didn't lay the pics out ... instead, I put them all in an album and put a post it on the ones I liked and went from there! Good Luck!

See that was one of the reasons I did not put off doing it, b/c once the high is gone, it is hard to get up the energy to do all the other stuff. I got right to it, the video, the photo, the TY. You must do it, and no better time than the present. Do it in small spurts.

We picked our thank you right away but have not even thought about working on the album yet - and we were married in sept

You should not make guests wait for a TY until you choose your album pics. Choose your TY photo, and place the order this weekend! You have plenty of time to decide on your enlargements and album....but, you are late with TY's. Good luck!

Ive heard its actually GOOD to wait for a few months after the wedding before decieding about albums b/c you will be removed enough to make decisions you will be happy with for years to come.

I got married in November as well. I'm doing albums & video now. I was delayed due to the holidays.

I agree Stef- our picture selection changed over the last few months. So while I wish I had our album already, I'm glad we had the time and made the right decisions without rushing.
my advice - live with your choices for awhile before ordering and than take another look and see if you'd change anything.

I agree that your TY should be chosen soon - we did that right away to get it over and done with!
We are meeting with the photographer tomorrow for our album, but I've been looking through my proofs and making decisions for about 3 weeks now. I'm glad I put a lot of time into it, because my choices did change from the first day.
Just lay out the pics and start going through them little by little - you'll eventually make some progress
