In all seriousness, some major prayers needed

Many of you know from last year, my mom had cancer and her treatment, been cancer free. Since then she has been in and out of the hospital with an array of problems and now this is the next worst possible (that I think anyway). Her kidneys are failing and the doctors don't know why. She had a consultation with her one doctor today because they just don't know why her kidneys have gotten worse. She is scheduled to have a biopsy to find out why she is having these problems so they could figure out a treatment. It might turn out that she needs to go on dialysis which is 3 days a week, 4 hours a day. My family and mom are having a hard time wrapping our heads around this. Her doctor was very reassuring in saying that people can live normally, go on vacation, etc. on dialysis and also said that people's kidneys have healed on dialysis and are able to come off it. So I'm hopeful to an extent. But if it comes down to it - my sister or I will see if we are good candidates to donate a kidney. I don't know, I just don't see any other way around it. I can't see my mom having to go like this. It's so depressing and scary and I just want her to get better. So if you could please just say a little prayer about her (or her kidneys to heal) I really appreciate it.

so sorry that u're going through this i know health issues with loved ones can be a roller coaster of emotions... ur mom, u, & ur family will be in dh & i's prayers.. try to stay as positive as u can and KNOW that God is bigger than any doctor report..
I actually have a very good friend that went through dialisis, a transplant, etc... and now is entirely healthy and leads a completely normal life.

have faith & hang in there! we'll be prayin' for ya...please keep us update!

Thanks Taryn. I know, my mom had said that prayer is the only thing that can heal her right now so we have a lot of people talking to God about her right now.

My ex boyfriend had a friend who had to do the dialysis and was waiting on a kidney transplant, and everytime I saw him he was doing regular stuff. I didn't even know that he had issues like that. People can totally still lead normal lives.
I will keep your mother in my prayers as well. I couldn't even fathom the possibility of losing her.
