I'm cluelesss- SORRY!!!

Most Irish songs are folk songs.... and even then, many of them have been adapted from Irish tunes.

Here are some popular ones that you may be able to find instrumental versions as they were a 'tune' first before they were set to words:

She Moved through the Fair
The Last Rose of Summer
Raglan Road
The Wearin' of the Green
Danny Boy

In terms of Irish tunes that are played on the traditional instruments, the possiblities are endless as the names, I wouldn't even know where to begin. If you have CDs or can download music, search for jigs, reels, hornpipes.

Also, these are popular Irish dances which would be a tune only:
Siege of Ennis
Shoe the Donkey

If you can download music, look for music by:
Solas
Chieftains
Altan
Cherish the Ladies
These will all be traditional music and many of them are without words.

Hope this helps!
