In Need of a New Job

OK, well I am putting it out hoping that some of my friends on here have connections. I need a new job, want to stay on LI to work. Right now I work in medical publishing where I design and layout my own journal from soup to nuts (with a multitude of other tasks as well), been there 7 years--need something new, more money, etc. I would like to stay in the creative/design field but am willing to try out anything. Advertising, publishing, marketing fields...
