Where are the best places to get inexpensive business casual clothes?
I have a few pieces from Express and NY&CO, but find that it's a little expensive to furnish a whole wardrobe from. The clothes at Ann Taylor Loft run too large for me. I'm seriously questioning the quality of H+M because of the defective blouse I got there from my interview that thank god didn't ruin my chances of getting the job.
And I really need a ton of things...my current job I can wear jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, sneakers, flipflops...so I really have nothing professional. I have some pants, but nothing in the shirt department, or shoes. And I would need a store that runs a little smaller, like junior sizing, but doesn't look 'young' if that makes any sense.
Does such a place exist?

NY&Co is definitely the cheapest, check online for the coupons, they usually have $30 off $75purchase, so you can definitely save alot.
Also, I usually hit the Banana Republic outlet, they always have a good sale like 40% off the entire store.

The Limited always has great sales. Sometimes, when i see something cute, i wait until it's out of season and snag it for the sale price. The wait is worth it!

Kohl's is great. Also check out Fashion Bug, Burlington Coat Factory and SYMS. Very cheap.

NY&CO has great sales. Sign up with your email address and they will send you tons of coupons. I get most of my stuff from the Limited or Express but only when I have the coupon cards they send me in the mail. They will send you stuff every month so I get tons of blouses for like 20-35 dollars. HM, I have shirts from there but most after a few wearings I get rid of because I find they get ruined after a few washes or don't fit right. I no longer shop there. Forever 21 is really hard to find any work type stuff. You should try the J-CREW outlet. Tons of collared shirts for like 25 dollars or so, or even try their website. The store wants like 50 dollars for their tops, and for work, I won't pay that much which is why I go to the outlet.

Thanks everyone!
I think I will hit up Target, and I'll try TJ Maxx/Marshalls for the heck of it...I usually don't have good luck there with clothing though due to the sizing. Then Kohls and the outlet stores, and last resort back to the mall stores. I know I definitely have to go to Target for my shoes since they're the only place that has a wide variety in my size.

Definitely sign up for NY&Co. e-mails. I hardly ever shop there unless there is a sale going on... which happens a LOT.

I'm a huge fan of Ann Taylor Loft for work clothes -- practically everything I have is from there. But my body and your body are extremely different shapes (you: tall and thin; me: opposite).
I actually like shopping at Macy's a lot, too. They have great sales and their store brands are actually very good quality. Since they have so many departments, you may be able to find things in juniors that will work too. Remember not to get turned off by other clothing that doesn't fit what you're looking for and keep in mind that a piece here and there can really make your wardrobe large & flexible.
Good luck & try to enjoy shopping!

Re: Inexpensive Business Casual
also, if you have an AAA card, NY&CO gives 20% off (i think only on tuesdays...but it might be any day)
AAA also gives discounts at other stores too. i think there should be a list online
