did anyone watch Intervention last night? Probably the MOST heart wrenching one I have ever seen. And apparently, the girl lives right by me....

OMG, the girl with the inhalants right? I actually was angry that this poor girls life was on t.v for people to watch for entertainment.
I think she was dealing with so mant demons and the inhalants were only part of her problem

I actually never watch the show but I did watch it last night. That was crazy! Especially since she had that can in her hand 24/7.

OMG yes!! i watched it monday night... that is one of the craziest episodes i've seen!! i have never heard of anyone inhaling cleaning products
anyways - i'm gald she got clean & hope she is still clean!!

No I live in Rhode Island and though I couldn't make out exactly where her apartment is, the hotel they had the intervention at & they hospital are very close to me.

I kind of felt that way too. Its like now the whole knows she was molested.
I haven't seen it yet, but it's on my TiVo.
If you have seen most of the Intervention episodes, most of these people have problems that have more to do with their addiction. You have to think that these families are at the end and this is the only way they can find to help them. The rehab places they send them realize this and work on the psychological issues as well as the drug issues.
I think if she goes to rehab and stays healthy and sober (again, I haven't seen it yet to have read the update) I think that the world knowing that she was molested is a minor thing. Embarassing? Yes, but if these people can help her then she will be fine.
