Is anyone else a shmuck like me??

Last night I locked my keys in the car..... and they were in the ignition... and the car was running.

I had no choice but to call AAA. The car ran for about an hour.

Yes, sadly I have done this several times in my life. Don't you feel so stupid when it happens?! So annoying!

Just pulled into Benihannas parking lot! AAA said they would 'try' to get the tow truck there sooner... yea ok.......

I did that once! Luckily I just so happened to have a spare key in my pocketbook!

i used to do this too with my old car.... i kept a spare key in my wallet!

I;ve done this a couple of times. Thank God never with the car on though. I am infamous for running out of gas

Oh I have a better one! I went out to lunch with co-workers and i drove. Left my keys in the car and running while we were inside having lunch...when we were leaving i couldn't find my keys, freaking out we walked outside..the car was running the entire time!!!!!!

Haha. I did that once when I was 19. My dad had to come with the extra set of keys to bail me out. After giving me a verbal lashing I NEVER did that again.

i almost did that and then freaked out b/c the spare keys are at my parents house... i keep on forgetting to pick them up!

I did that a couple months ago. I was at my sisters house (and she wasn't home). My keys were also in the ignition, but not running at least. I was sooooo mad!! And my phone was locked in there also.

DH just did that a few weeks ago actually. He was at work and just broke in thru the sunroof. lol. When I got my new car I made certain to have extra keys made!!!!

My mom did this once at a valet and I had to take a cab 40 minutes to where she was to bring the spare key! LOL!

I have locked my own keys in my car once, an older car, and a slim jim did the job!
