Is anyone else thinking of getting the NW chop??

I really want a different style for my hair. I'm just not sure what to do. My hair is just getting too long.

Anyone else feeling like this??

I did, I cut 7-8 inches off. It's not super short (still below my shoulder) but it was a huge deal for me since I had it long since soph yr in college!!

This is exactly me. Long curly hair. I'm getting bored with it.

It sounds really pretty! 9 inches is quite a chop.
How short is it now? Shorter than shoulder-length?



i was always nervous I would look like a poodle if i cut it short... BUT it is great....it is about the top of my shoulder length-sometimes depending on the curls mood more like chin length
with long layers-it is not Puffy or frizzy at all... another worry I had...

it was a HUGE change...

IT is also so much easier to blow straight myself.. I was never able to do it and when I would get it done lots of times it would take up to 2 hours and it didnt look so great...now I can do it easily myself-although I am still getting used to using a flat iron... and it looks like real straight hair-not curly hair that was straightened (you know what I mean)???

Anyway, once I get a chance, I will post pics

I had my newlywed chop the day after my wedding! I went to get it cut straight from my hotel only 3 hrs before we left for our honeymoon. I was itching to chop it off!!!

i don't think i will do it.. i will only cut a few inches off, not tooo short....

I may cut 2-3 inches--my hair is so fine & has split ends...will do in a few weeks when I get my highlights.

I am planning on doing this prob next week...we have really hard water where we live and it is making my hair so knotty I need to chop it off!
