My DH is horrible with $$- anytime he has some-he has to spend it. I, on the other hand, am much more cheap~I mean frugal. I don't like to always say no to what he wants to buy, etc., cause I love that he consults me first, but it's just very annoying. Anyone else have a spend-happy DH?

mine is u would think he is a child or something
just yesterday I asked DH if he will re-marry after I die (I know, what a crazy and morbid sbj with just 25 days after the wedding) and he said no. I got really worried, and asked him how then he will balance the check book?????? he needs someone to keep him in line!

omg yes....DH is horrible with money. He makes a real good salary, but, whenever he has money - he spends it...on expensive things. But, he realizes it and gave me full access to his bank account and told me to only give him an allowance every time he gets paid and xfer the rest to savings. We shall see how this works out as its only been 2 weeks since he did this...

MINE IS!! MINE IS!!! He also hasnt learned yet that his spending habbits have got to change now that we have a mortgage to pay!!!

Umm...
hmm... this is a tough one becuase DH can fall on both extremes.
He can be bad with money in terms of spending at times... if he has it, he will spend it.
BUT then he is also somewhat obsessed with making money (hence why he always has two jobs).... so usually he forks over all the extra money to me and I save it.
So he's a hard worker and good at making the money... but sometimes he spends a lot. And I'm a shopper too... so I have to make sure we both are in check.
