I am doing the same exact thing.
My email address will remain the same but I will change everything else. I hyphenated my auto signature though.

When I changed my name my email was set up so that email sent to my maiden name email came to my married name email and when I replied it went out with my married name. If you don't change it you will have to use your maiden name on faxes as well. Get the IT guy busy.

My father is the president- so my maiden name holds some clout...DEF. not changing it! FH isn't thrilled...but It will be changed legally everywhere else....just my business cards and email wil have my maiden name.

I changed it but, I wish I didn't!
Luckily, my external email address still works so people can find me. Unfortunately, it's a bit confusing to some of the people internally (I deal with a lot of people across our organization and there were a few I missed with my name - change email - people I only deal with occasionally). I've been with my company for 9 years now and even the people who got the email and see me frequently have problems remembering the new last name.

I left my email as-is... It's actually only 1 letter of a difference anyway. It's my first name and maiden Initial. For one letter it is totally NOT worth it to go through all your clients, IMO. I did however change the signature and name that shows up when u send out emails.

I am changing my name everywhere - on my license, SS card, credit cards, bank statements, paycheck, benefits etc., etc.
BUT - I am leaving my work email address as is. I just dont want to go through the hassle of emailing the whole company that my name has changed....
Anyone else doing this?

didn't change anything... legally or otherwise.... becuase of work. I already am published, and it would make literature searches on my work difficult. I also thought it would be wierd to get my checks and grants in my new legal name, yet be called my former name by co-workers and collaborators..... too complicated!

I didn't change it anywhere (except on my marriage license). I'm so used to my old name that I still use it on everything official including work. I'm a teacher and everybody at my school knows me by my maiden name so I want to keep it that way. But I use his name socially (I love getting mail from friends & family with my married name on it). I may change it completely to his in the future though.
