My hubby has a CDL A License and makes good money hauling sand and gravel up and down the LIE! He absolutely loves it!

My hubby is going to school to get his CDL A and finishes in July...They have a 98% placement rate. Do you have any idea how much they would start for someone out of school with no experience...

Mine does, he used to drive a truck when he was in school years ago....but he doesn't use/need it anymore.

DH is a truck driver but doesnt need his CDL for the company he works for ! He makes good money

Pete does but the fact of the matter is it depends WHAT they're hauling and what company you work for. Car carrier companies for example, are gettting ETRMELY cuttthorat becaiuse of gas prices and the fact freight isnt moving as well anymore because people arent buying cars the way they were.
D makes good money but e do live a bit in fear of these prices. Last week we paid $2,600 in fuel for a week... couple ofweeks before it was $2,500 etc.
But CDL are required for all trucking jobs.When you get the extra endorsements than more jobs open up.
