That now i want to have a 'real' wedding?!?!!?

No. I know people who had destination weddings and came back to plan another, more traditional, wedding. How does DH feel about this? Have you mentioned this to him?

It is especially easy to understand if you are reading the boards and seeing all the 05ers that haven't gone yet still in the throws of planning. Sometimes I get a little sad that I'm done and I don't get to dream about my wedding day. I've been dreaming about it since I was a little girl and now, after so many years, I almost don't know how NOT to dream about it.

i dont know. i dont need a ceremony, but i would like a reception. i'd like to have our families togetehr in one room and have professional pictures and everything.

maybe i should really wait until my family can handle it better? i dont know.

when we told one of his sisters the news she said she'd plan us a pasty over the summer in VA....
a)my mom said she didnt want to go!!!
b)summer is almost here and there has been no mention of it.

My only suggestion (because I read it from your other post) is that you get everything in order with the families first.

My father's side of the family didn't come to my wedding, and I will never forget that they weren't there!

Save for a while and see...A BIG wedding is a lot of time and energy as well as money...

I don't think it's bad. But it seems like it might not be 'you' but rather a phase. So I would say consider starting to save (saving money never hurts!) and thinking about it in the meantime and while things settle down with your family.

haha! its me and dharma... but she moved at the wronf time.... so it just looks like shes looking up my skirt! .... i only like this pic cuz it maes my legs look skinny! haha!

Lolita: I would totally do a nice huge reception with family and friends, so you will have tons of nice pictures.
