So DH is taking a night class for the next 2 months at his job, every Tuesday night. He won't be home until 9 or so. We haven't even been married 2 months yet....and I'm like thank GOD!
I'm actually able to go on the computer! And I can just relax and unwind and have some me-time....ahhhh. Don't get me wrong, I love the monkey, and we've had a shockingly and miraculous easy time adjusting to living together...but I think I'm going to like Tuesday nights for a while too

I think it's totally normal.
Every girl needs her 'girly alone time' to watch wedding shows and paint their nails.

dh is at a basketball game then going straight to work and i am loooooooving this alone time

I hope it's not bad because I feel the same way! DH is starting a night rotation tomorrow and it will be over February 10! He will be working 2:45 - 10:45 and won't be home until about 12:30 - 1 am every night. His days off will be Monday and Tuesday so we'll basically never see each other. Yes, I'll miss him....but I'm also like WOOO HOOOO!!!!
I think I'm so used to living alone and having a couple of days a week to myself....this living together thing has been an adjustment for me.

I dont think its bad at all! Everyone needs time to themselves. I bet DH loves when i go to schools on Tuesday and Thursday nights!

Not bad at all! It is totally normal to enjoy your alone time. I am jealous. DH is out of work right now and he is ALWAYS home. It's not too bad though because we spend a lot of time apart when we are home...we watch totally different tv at night. Thank God for 2 DVRs!!!!

i don't think so at all! i LOVE alone time - sometimes you just wanna do your own thing and that's important in my book! i say don't feel bad about enjoying it at all and good for you! yay girly time! :o)

I don't think its bad at all! Girl time is the best time. I get too much of it sometimes as DH works nights every other week.. but then sometimes when he is not working nights I am thinking how I wish he was cause all I want to do is watch freaking American Idol without his dumb comments
