Is it lame...

to wear a t-shirt of a band to that bands show??? Im debating what to wear tonight and I dont want to feel like a tool wearing a t-shirt with the bands name on it. LOL! usually I dont do that, but Im also selling the shirts and thought maybe it would help if people could see them on? Thoughts?

i agree!

but it does irk me when i go to a concert, and people where the band's t-shirt. we know you're a fan, no need for the shirt, JMO.

exactly! And there is the slight chance one of the other girlfriends will want to sell them tonight so then I'll just be there wearing the t-shirt of my husbands band. LOL! Although I am bringing a sweater...

I don't see it being lame even if you weren't selling it.

normally I do say not to wear the tshirt of the band you are seeing lol. When I went to concerts like every week i made sure not to do that. But in your situation it is fine and infact you should do it. You are selling it so advertise the merchandise on yourself

Re: Is it lame...

So I wore the shirt last night. And of course 3 of the guys in the band made fun of me even though I was selling the shirts! They totally teesed me about it and called me 'one of those!' And one of them was my husband!!!

I am not surprised this not wearing the shirt of the band you are going to see is like a rock faux pas

ahhh i remember my younger days and yeah this was known, i would usually wear a white wife beater or my GNR t-shirt to rock concerts

Gina-you should've told them next time you won't sell their shirts anymore your case is the only acceptable one but guess they just had to tease you for fun

And I even said to them 'I knew someone would comment about this!' LOL! However, one of the ex girlfriends of the singer used to wear their shirts all the time. Like to almost every show! i always found kinda lame (although she was a very nice girl so I feel bad saying that) but no one ever gave her any crap for it, so I didn't think any of them would notice. guess I was wrong!
