are the My Fair Wedding Brides a lot less prepared when he walks in this year. Its like they know he is coming so they stopped planning altogether or buy the cheapest, stupidist stuff so he will foot the bill and throw them a fab wedding. Season 1 the brides were trying hard and he fixed it. Season 2 its like he is planning the whole thing from the start.

hmmm...hard to say - the 1st few episodes of season 2, I thought the girls had stuff 'prepared' (so to speak)...but I am wondering if there really are some brides out there that thinks this stuff looks great! I mean the chick who was going to have a lollipop bouquet...I think she was really serious about doing that...same w/the girl who was going to buy her flowers & cake from a grocery store.
I did feel really bad for the last bride (this past Sunday) when she put on that dress that was 4 sizes too small for her...I wanted to cry. That was really sad.

I never watched season 1 but i def think the same thing like they know he is going to come and make their wedding fab, so they buy some fake flowers to say that is what they were using? and does everyone get married at an elks club on that show!?? lol

But she bought a dress 4 sizes to small at a garage sale for $5. She could have gone to thrift stores and looked for one that fit her. Why did she need to buy one 4 sizes to small except to have something to show him. To me it seemed like everything she did was just thrown together cheap so she had something to show him, picnic blankets on the floor outside the tent? I know she didn't have much to spend but come on. I just think this season that the girls just wait for him to come in and plan their weddings. Her in particular.

Season 1 girls had real weddings planned. He didn't even always change the location. Season 2 I think maybe two brides really had solid plans done when he showed up. Like the one who was getting grocery store flowers... more like... I didn't even bother because I knew you would do it for me flowers.

I remember that Amanda, the '08 LIW bride who was on My Fair Wedding, said that he didn't even pay for everything, that their wedding was definately not free. So, maybe he will buy them a dress, but I am sure that he isn't going to foot the bill for the entire wedding.

But her wedding he didn't change that much. It was still at the Irish Coffee Pub. I think he foots the bill for the changes. So if he changes EVERYTHING... Also season 1 he probably didn't have the kind of money to spend as he does season 2, which is very typical of reality tv.
