Is my business name really that strange?

I went to the bank today...and the teller guy is like..'Kitty Kat Graphics...what's that?'...so i politely say...i do Graphic Design...my name is Kathryn...so people call me Kat or some friends call me Kitty Kat...that's how the name came to be....i get this ALOT...is it really that odd????

I dont think it is weird BUT.....

-grins- To play devil's advocate and to think like a guy for a moment as my DH has me conditioned, the Kitty Kat portion DOES spring to mind (male minds that is) something porno/stripper related. Like Purrrrrrr Kitty lol. He may not even really be seeing the 'ghraphic' part of it but focusing with his little head rather than the large one.

I think its a cute name though personally but I do not have a penis.

YES! That is exactly what I was getting at! Stuff like that has made it into pop culture so you make that association. Historically, cats have always been associated with women in diff context; like the term 'catty' or 'cat fight'. In art, pictures done of prostitues sometimes had black cats in them to make the correlation between an 'animal of the night' and a 'woman of the night.'

NOTHING is wrong with your business name Kath! I like it. It's clever. Just look at it with an ironically comedic eye when people seem reeeeal interested in the Kitty part.

i thought the same thing!! but thats really cuz i do think like a guy. i do think it's a cute name though and it's relevant ( not like u made it up out of nowhere) soooo... i do understand u people may ask u, but i still think it's a cute name.

Be glad they question your name it makes it memorable!! As a Cat (not Cathy) I find nothing odd about it

people that aren't creative just DONT get it usually...
its def not weird at all! i totally got it when i first saw. i love it, love the logo too!

im currently trying to figure out a new business name that me AND dan can both use to incorporate into a business. we;re trying to think of a pretty generic but GOOD name for it and im stumped
