is the old jessica simpson coming back?!

so..back in the day i was the BIGGEST jessica simpson fan..i loved her. dispite her stupidity, i just loved how down to earth & just plain gorgous she was..loved her roots, her values, her writing, her music... i watched 'Newlyweds' religiously...THEN of course, i started loosing my love for her all of a sudden she changed into a different person & she just started to piss me off...her whole personality, her image, even her freakin' singing voice for goodness sake lol, etc. BUT - it seems like she's coming back to what she once was! for those who aren't/were never fans, u may just want to skip this, but for those that ever liked her, check out this article...i think our girl is back i'm happy for her and all that she's doing with herself...

I am glad she seemsto be settling down. i always thought she seemed like a nice normal girl before the craziness started and all the tabloid nonsense. she's gorgeous and talented and hopefully she can pull herself up again and just enjoy doing what she loves to do-singing.

BTW LOVE her shoeline. they're actually pretty comfy.

I felt the same way. I LOVED newlyweds and Im still upset about the divorce. LOL. I think she started getting a little tacky and it really upset me- but I still love the girl!

OMG I KNOOOOWWW!!! her boots are BEAUTIFUL..but they were too expensive for me this past winter her summer shoes are much more reasonable though! i heard her swimsuit line is super cute too

I adore her. Even with the Newlywed show, I still adore her. Considering the other girls in the age bracket like Britney, Paris, Nicole, etc., she has always been stable. What is the worst thing she's done? Acted like a bonehead? At least she doesn't have a DWI! Go Jessica!

i really don't understand when people who have had their entire lives and relationships exploited and dragged thru the mud like she did.......go in an interview and talk about being 'in loooove' again and talking about her relationship. yes i know she can be 'proud' about her love and such....but when you live in the spotlight....talking about how great things are....get filed and pulled out the next time you break up and get into a relationship with someone else. i would just shut my mouth up and not talk about it....simply because its no one else's business.

its like ben & j. lo -- how they talked about how in looooove they were---she did a song on her album dedicated and named for him....interviews, etc. and it allll went downhill

I love strong, independent and beautiful women. I hated that she acted like such a moron on the show.

i think that's how we all felt...but i like in the interview how she mentions that going through all the junk she delt with got her to grow up & be more independent... other interviews too she talks about how naive & co-dependent she was..and how she woke up one morning & realized 'What the H*LL am i doing??'..i mean it ***** that she learned the hard way and delt with it in a divorce...but i think she's come a long way & has learned a lot since her newlywed days..

As far as the NW show thing I have to jump in and defend her even though i don't want to lol. BUT devils advocate and all that...

Do I like that she acted like a moron on the show? NOPE BUT I do I think she actually is a moron? NOPE again.

I think she played up the 'dumb blonde' routine for ratings and to work to her advantage which i have to say it did, which was a very smart if kinda declasse careere move. Like those stupid buffalo wing commercials for what was it? Pizzahut?

Thats how she got 'her foot in the door' so to speak, and from there, she got famous. Now do i think she should have tried to get famous in a way that didn't degrade her as much by portraying her as a stereotype? TOTALLY. I wouldn't have done it the way she did.

HOWEVER...the girl did what she felt she had to do and laughed herself all the way to the bank because it got her her deals with the companies who manufacture her shoe line and perfume line and I have to admit that I think she has some quality stuff going on and again shows some savviness and intelligence as far as business sense.

I'm happy for her that she's found love again and is moving on from her divorce. But I'm still sad about her and Nick breaking up. I loved the Newlyweds, and I always thought they were the perfect couple!

abso-friggin-lutely. the girl is a MAJOR entrepreneur now. i think people need to realize that reality tv is completely EDITED. she can make a comment about food, and they can edit it into a convo. about the president if they wanted to. plus - the whole ditzy thing made people love her or hate her. i think it IS party of who she is, just not to the extreme the show made it out to be. my god - if somebody recorded all the stupid things i said in a day and then edited them down do you KNOW what i would sound like?! lmao..

EXAAACTTLY...i think there are substancial actors who've successfully kept their lives out of the media...think of Tom hanks, denzel, charlize....their lives are THEIR lives..yet they're still successful, still down to earth, and i respect them for that. i understand people like to be in the tabs(some feel that 'bad media' is better than 'no media' or that their fans deserve to know whats going on in their lives) but then don't complain when they exploit everything!! i think js is TALKING about her life, but not giving the media sights to see & rip on...currently she's living in dallas(where she grew up) because she wants to get away from the LA scene and enjoy a normal life... so kudos to her for that...

the fact of the matter is, they were NEVER able to work on their problems because there were always cameras in their faces to capture 'the perfect couple'...as much as i loved it, that show was the beginning of the end for them..they did it for way too long..
