Is there any talent left in America??

Did anyone watch American Idol last night?? Can you believe out of over 7k people in Detriot only 22 people are moving on Please share your funny moments from the show if you remember them. My one question is why do they let some of these terrible singers go on for so long

I like when the argue with Simon.

He says something like 'You are the worst singer'
They say: 'No im not'
'Yes you are'
'NO Im not'
'But you are'
'I dont think so..'
'I know so...'

hahahhhaa

I like the one where the girl said I beg to differ and he said you can differ all you want...she goes I differ

What about the guy that Randy told he should be a singing stripper, some of these people have no talent. I was laughing, crying my eyes out...that show is funny

I liked the girl who said that even if she doesnt make it she still loves all the judges and then curses in the after interview. I thought the boxer was funny too!!

haha Stef, that is funny!

I love this show, but I can't help but wonder (like many other reality shows) if some of it is true. The people that are so F*&*# HORRIBLE, what are they thinking? I just don't believe that no one has told them NOT to go in front of American and make a fool of themselves. Even though it's highly entertaining, I like the show better later on when there's more competition with the good singers.

The boxer is the one who begged to differ. What about the people that thinks they are getting a compliment and they say oh thank you and he said that is not a compliement. Or you really cannnot sing, you are the worse singer in America. Some of these people who tried to sing Etta James' at last had that woman turning over in her grave

It definitely makes for some funny tv though! I didn't watch last years American Idol...I decided to watch now because I couldn't stop laughing when I heard some of the takes on the radio. Am so glad I'm watching.....am really enjoying the laughs!!

What about that guy from Florida...who tried to sing Enrique Iglesias (sp??). He was terrible! And then kept trying to come back - wacko!

I wonder if these people aren't thrown in to make it more entertaining to us viewers??

Then there are those that forget the words to the song and ask for another chance or those that sing really badly and want a go at it again...oh the torture

What about the guy who talked like a girl? he had my hysterical when he was singing. Its like his voice didn't know what tone to take.

You have to admit though...I was watching the show wondering do these people really think they can sing? They were so awful! It looked like Paula Abdul was annoyed after a while too. They must have been miserable.

How do they do it...the judges that is...so few talents and so many auditions. They all look like they have had enough. Oh my. Latina, that guy was so high pitch he made me wonder what was wrong with him.

My favoriate is when they say, 'I am more talented than you 3' Randy Jackson said, 'But I am not the one auditioning so it doesn't matter' LOL

Everyone should have a dream but the nerdy guy who sings broadway show tunes should NOT dream of being a POP Icon. Simon said, 'You should not be considering Pop music as your dream.' The kid was like, 'But it is my dream' Scott said, 'That poor kid just doesn't know he's gay yet'

I was SO MAD at that kid that didn't know the words to the Star Spangled Banner! If I were those judges, I wouldn't have cared if he was on pitch or not, I would be like 'Learn the words to our national anthem BUDDY!'

The Elvis guy was horrible and so were the guys who they could not figure out what they were saying.

Michelle I think the kid that you are talking about also told them to kiss is A**, is that him?? he kept smacking his butt and saying for them to kiss it

I liked the Marine guy, he had a nice voice and was cute....

The chair thing was great! We are a society that loves to see people fail and fall on their a$$- it's awful but darn is it funny

I thought the boxer chick was so weird -- did you hear her ramble on after her audition. I felt bad for her but still I think she had a screw loose.

Those twin guys were a riot too -- they were so serious in fighting with the judges.

I am constantly surprised to hear people who think they can sing get up there and sing. I've actually seen and heard people who really, truly, believe they can sing and you're like 'STOP, please, you're terrible.'
