Let me preface this by saying that I loved my wedding and I couldn't be more thankful for the end result....I'm married to the man of my dreams.
I also worked really hard on making all the details just perfect. Ketubah, yarmulkes, flowers, food, music, table settings, yadda yadda yadda.
However, is it normal to see photos and attend other's weddings, and wish that maybe you had done this detail differently, or that detail?
Not being envious, just comparing your own and feeling the slightest bit regretful that you didn't have this or that?
I don't mean to sound like a spoiled brat, and I know this sounds awful.....just curious if anyone else feels this way, or if I am, genuinely nuts.

I do it all the time. I think its more just the idea that you cant change yours. I see boks and flower ideas and wish I had done it-but still love every aspect of my wedding and if I had the chance to do it again I probably would still do it the same way

dont get me wrong i loved my wedding but i do the samething!! you just wish you would of thought of that when you were planning. i get mad sometimes to and i feel like im being a big brat and i feel like i sound ungreatful but im really not. i think we all do it

I ALWAYS do that! I am definitely having a five year do-over because of all of the bad stuff DH and I went through planning our wedding and even into our newlywed months.

Not awful at all..I think it's totally natural to look at other peoples wedding's and compare favorably not to mention unfavorably

Totally normal! I missed a friend's wedding while I was gone...but I saw pics and of course it made me think!

i think its natural. i LOVED my day and it was the greatest day ever---but i will see the pics of others and think 'damnitt! I wish i had a pic like that' or 'i wish i had thought of that'
don't worry--as brides we are perfectionists so we can't help but always want something better!

okay.....I feel better now....I'm not the only one! THank goodness for this site to get a group of ladies in the same life stage all together to validate each other and realize that so many of us think alike
