Is this guy serious??! What would you do?

I doubt anyone is awake but I need to vent. Theres this guy who parks right in front of where I live and BLASTS loud music for HOURS. He's out there right now at 11:30 PM. He doesnt even live on this block but insists on parking at the hydrant which is right in front of our bedroom window. I made 3 complaints with 311 and still nothing. What would you girls do? Would you let your DH go outside and say something. I stopped my DH 3 times already. I dont want something to happen. Should I let him say something to the a$$hole??

There is a noise law after 11pm that you can put in a complaint with. Videotape and document everything. It is illegal to park in front of the fire hydrant, take a pic. DH said he would probably go talk to them (just asked him). I would be fustrated also. I live on a dead end and you get indiv hanging out but I am way off the street.

I complained with 311. But I also just called the precinct and made a complaint. The officer said they were coming. My windows are closed in the house and I can make out every song he is playing. Its ridiculous. The officer told my husband not to go outside. Im just hoping the cops dont come when he leaves. This has to stop! What kind of person parks his car in a residential area and blasts music?

It is going to take awhile for them to come. It is probably for the best for DH not to go out but I would be so mad I would march right out there. It is least priority for the cops. I would at least videtape for proof, try to get the license plate. I wonder who they know that they are there. I agree that it is absurd and rude. Lets us know how it turms out.

yeah it S*CKS bc i know exactly where it is and they do that all the time there. The cops used to come all the time, but at the corner of where you live. If its not correction officers who hang out there its the young kids in the neighborhood. Is it one of the young kids? I would say something, does chris know who it is?

The cops just gave him a ticket and the music stopped. Denise its not corrections, luckily they havent been around much since they closed that bar on the corner of 80th Street. Chris recognizes the guy. He says the dude was on the show Romper Room back in the day and is now a huge druggie. I was so happy when I saw the cops. he doesnt even live on this street yet he continues to park here. UGH. I hope it stops for good. This past Saturday he -was parked outside from 2 pm to around 10pm playing music on and off.

yeah that is true, i never see them anymore when i drive by or stop at the store, i used to hate that. Hmmm romper room i think i might know lol. Ugh yeah alot of those kids or should i say men need to really grow up and i would say something bc honestly most are harmless and wouldn't do a thing. Its really annoying and i know how annoying they can get. I remember being younger and hanging out at Sha's all the time, and i used to tell them to stop playing music so loud bc ppl live right there and its rude. Hopefully now that he got a ticket it will stop and if he does it again i would just call the cops again.

Its crazy! I would never do that. Sit in a residential area and blast music on a weekday. I was peeking out my window like a little nosy old lady lol. I woke Chris up like THE COPS ARE HERE YAY! I just feel bad cause he has to wake up at 7 AM. Its so inconsiderate. Youre right too, they wont do anything if he went out there. He was in his car with a chick too. So he really wouldnt have done anything but I always expect the worst and wouldnt want this dude knowing where we live exactly. BY Sha's it would be okay cause it a little further up but right in front of our window??! Thats where I draw the line.

he was with a chick lol is that their date place lol what a loser. I dont get it either and yeah at least go up to the corner. I have a kid like that by me now, everytime he gets home no matter what time it is and usually its late, he has his music blasting and takes forever to park his car in the driveway. Sometimes he'll just sit in his car by himself with the music blasting. I hate this kid and dh always asks if he can go downstairs and punch the kid and i say no but one day im gonna let him. I always want to throw an egg from my window or something. He is a little punk too.

yeah it just shows no respect i hate it.

its funny bc over a year ago when i used to stay at joes house well his parents house now, joe lives more by 19th ave and you know how quiet it is down there and at night theres nobody around or anything open. And for a while almost every single night ppl would park in front of his house since there was a fire hydrant and have sex in the car, it just kept happening. Usually back in the days everybody would go on the other blocks where you had all the businesses that are closed at that time but for some reason they decided to pick the next ave up. And in his house you couldnt smoke so we would always go out front to smoke and i walked out once and could clearly see the girl jerking her bf off, or another time the girl on top. I dont get it bc they got all embarassed and shocked too it wouldnt even be that late, probably 10-11pm, and they are RIGHT in front of someones house, dont they think that HELLO ppl do live here and they can be just walking in or walking out or able to just look out their windows and see you, or any of the other houses right next to joe's. And they would look at me like i was doing something wrong lol just for walking out of a house they were in front of.

OMG!!!! Thats horrible! I just dont get people. At least if I was planning to be naughty like that I would find a secluded area. Not in front of someone house. People are so stupid.

our neighbor blasts his music all day and night I swear. Our bed is against the wall and it vibrates. Depending on when he is home thats when we have to hear his music
DH has been over there twice to ask him to turn it down. At first we didnt want to because hes our neighbor and its awkward but it just got to be sooo annoying.

You are lucky it was a guy parked in a car on the street. At least the cops were able to come and see it was clearly him. We have someone either below us, or next door to us (we can't tell completely) but they have a party EVERY friday night. I don't mind a little party, we have little parties, but they BLASTTT the music and start fighting and tons of crap going on late into the evening. I woke up once at 4am to someone fighting. I almost called the cops the other night but I couldn't tell if it was downstairs or next door and I didn't know what to say when I called lol 'umm...I don't know where it is , but come please'. IT's so frustrating when people are so inconsiderate.

OMG - so sorry Lea! UGH!

Also someone that lives near us has parties sometimes we and we hear loud music and fights and yelling and we just call the cops and give our address and say it is in our neighborhood!
