we just got our proofs back a few weeks ago and all of our families are dying for pics. is it tacky to give really nice frames with our wedding pics in it as holiday gifts for like grandparents?? i think we are getting my parents and in-laws gifts - but the grandparents really just seem to want the wedding pics on their wall asap. is that terrible?? real opinions please - i wont get offended!!

i dont' think it's tacky at all. . . and if it is, i'm in trouble! we got several of our pictures printed out in large sizes like 8 x 10s and plan on giving them as gifts to extended family.

omg - so glad to hear im not the only one doing this!! i dont want to look self centered - i just know its a better present than anything store bought. just curious on the ettiquette (if there is any). thanks!! anyone else do this or have thoughts on it?

I'm doing it too. I hope it's not tacky, I was thinkng that too but DH has about 20 people on his side & I have 28 so it's a lot of people to buy for.

We are likely doing the same thing for our family! I am also going to make our parents our own albums as well, instead of ordering them from the photographer!

I did this. I actually odered from walmart |(125) pictures, and it came to like 15 bucks. A total steal.There all already wrapped in frames.I don't think it's tacky at all. I know the family is going to love them.
