So i was sitting at my desk eating cheese-it mix. And a girl who I work with came up to me and asked em something. Then she asked for some cheeseits and stuck her hand in the bag and took some. I know her, but not well. Like we talk sometimes but we are not friends. We dont work closly together. Have never talked outside work ever. It kinda grosses me out cus I know she had had a cold the week before.

I would have been pissed. I dont share drinks, lipstick, and I definitely dont want people hands in my food. If someone asks me for gum, I make sure to pop it out right into their hand. Im a little neurotic about things like that

I was taken aback when she did that. But this girl is like that. She always leaves early and throws her responsibilities at everyone else.

the people I work with are so rude I have one woman in particular who just sticks her hand in your bag. She doesn't even ask because she doesn't remember my name.

Re: Is this weird?
first off, it was kind of rude just for her to ASK for some in general. I never ask anybody for some of their food no matter how hungry I am, and I would be thrown back if somebody asked ME for some of mine. What is that???
second of all - to actually dig your hand into somebody elses bag of food??? Gross. Very rude.
I remember once i was at this Christmas party and I had some guy come over and talk to me, but all I could focus on was the bowl of M&Ms in his hand. He would dig his fingers all the way to the bottom of the dish and it totally grossed me out that he was touching every single chocolate in there. Why couldn't he just take some off the top? Totally grossed me out and needless to say, i did not take an M&M when offered one. lol.

Sooo rude!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ask and you can give her some. Dont stick your grubby hands in there!!! What if she just touched her va-jay!
My former boss used to stick his nasty-ball grabbing hands in my food. Its so nasty!

that is weird - i would either wait to be offered some right from the bag or I would take the bag and shake a few pieces out in my hand.

Re: Is this weird?
some people don't have common sense.
I once had two banana's at my desk one for lunch and one for my snack (when I was dieting) and this guy just came over and took one...I was just left speechless...I know it's just a banana, but still.
My friend was about to eat her sandwich from McD's some guy (co-worker/friends) takes it from her desk....she then goes to his office thinking he is just bothering her to get it back and he ate now that's really crazy.

Re: Is this weird?
I didn't offer, but I didn't say no. She asked and I didn't really say anything and she stuck her hand in while talking to me. Like I do that with friends. But not people I barely know or when it isn't offered.
