Mine is! I HATE searching for recipes...I've been doing it forever. He's so hard to cook for since he does not like cheese or anything creamy! Everything friggin' has cheese- he's gotta get over it!
How about yours? What are his food hangups?

Re: Is your DH a pain in the butt to cook for?
My DH will eat anything.....I'm not kidding he'll eat anything I put in front of him. He is not discerning at all. The only thing he doesn't like are peppers.
I totally know where your DH is coming from though b/c I hate creamy/cheesey foods. They make me sick. Lots of men have bad lactose issues and have aversions to creamy/cheesy foods.

My DH will eat anything, he really dislikes vegetables though. I am breaking him into them though. I keep saying when we have kids, they can't see their Dad not eating his vegetables!!

Re: Is your DH a pain in the butt to cook for?
nope. If he was a picky eater, we frankly couldn't last. I know that sounds odd, but cooking a diverse array of dishes (french, german, polish, indian, ethiopean, moroccan, greek, spanish, mexican) is really important to me. If he said 'oh, I don't like (chicken / cream / mushrooms / onions / garlic) it would be such a pinch on my lifestyle, I'd be constantly irritated.
DH eats everything. Spicy, unusual... the only things we avoid are organ meat (unhealthy, and DH dislikes it, unless it's pate or liverwurst), and fish (my allergy)

Well my DH prefers to eat like a 5 year old (I'm talking chicken nuggets and french fries) and I am a much healthier eater, so that is hard. We keep a kosher kitchen, so that always makes recipes harder to find.

Tara that *****! How about making pasta with veggies and chicken or getting a grill pan and making burgers or something?
The only thing Roy doesn't like is cooked fish (not shell fish though) and broccoli..otherwise he will eat just about anything.

Nope......cause he cooks EVERYTHING. I don't cook AT ALL......I can't STAND cooking...... So he cooks for mean and I am pretty easy to cook for. As long as there is no animal on my plate, then I am good to go!

FH is really not picky at all, but he's weird bc sometimes he will tell me that he doesnt like something when hes not in the mood for it - and then I will see him eating it 3 days later!!

Re: Is your DH a pain in the butt to cook for?
he's actually pretty damn easy to please.
the only difficulty is that he likes red meat and reaaaally spicey foods which i dislike. so, sorry to say, i dont really cook those for him or else id have to cook two separate meals each night, pain in the butt. but when we go out, he usually gets his fill of meat and whatnot. or when he cooks for himself. or when my italian grandmother who lives a few minutes away cooks sausage and meatballs and any red meat she always brings some over for him.
and the only thing he hates is brocolli and other greens.
other than that, i really just started cooking every night for him since the wedding bc he went back to work and comes home late but otherwise DH has always been the cook in our fam! hes a great cook.

My DH is exactly the same...I'm a big fish eater and since he hates fish I haven't cooked any since the wedding. I have to wait til I eat at my mom's or a restaurant to have my favorite...grilled salmon.
