It depends on your fitness level. If you have good upper body strenght it is easier...I think it is fun no matter what your level.

Re: Island Rock Indoor climbing????
DH and I used to have a membership there. We go twice a week. We stopped going because it got expensive. We loved it there. Everyone is so friendly and eager to teach. We started with rock climbing but soon discovered bouldering. If you're interested they offer classes, shoe and harness rentals. If you go during the week nights, it's pretty much dead empty. Weekends are always packed with kids and birthday parties.

Is it hard???
It's not hard, they have trails rated for beginners to lead climbers. If you've never climbed before they will suggest that you take a class or have one of the staff members as your belayer. You look like you're in good shape. I don't think you'll have a problem. My only challenge was my height. I'm 5'-1' tall. Sometimes I have trouble reaching grips but I usually work around it. DH is 6'-5'. Sometimes he can skip a grip or if he stays on trail, he's completely off balance due to his height ratio. Rock climbing requires a lot of upper body strength, which I don't have. Hence, I have trouble doing dyno moves. Don't know if that means anything to you.

Re: Island Rock Indoor climbing????
I used to do indoor rock climbing when I was a teen (i think my dad won a package or something) and it was a blast!
ETA: This is coming from someone with terrible upper body strength, and I still had fun.
